​Sara McDowell, Percussion

Originally from Lake Charles, LA, Sara studied voice and percussion at McNeese State University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Having more than three decades' experience as a professional musician, she has performed with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Rapides Symphony Orchestra, Lake Charles Symphony Orchestra, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Chorale Acadienne, Acadian Wind Symphony, Lafayette Concert Band, and National Community Band. She currently serves as percussionist for the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
