Ryan Guidry, Trumpet
Ryan Guidry, a Lafayette native, performs on trumpet, kuhlohorn and cornet. His trumpet professors include Galindo Rodriguez at Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts, Ramon Parcells at the University of Michigan and James West at Louisiana State University. He has performed in solo masterclasses for Charles Daval, Ed Carroll, Mike Vax, Niklus Eklund, and Ray Sasaki.
Ryan has performed in the trumpet sections of Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Pops Orchestra and the Dodsworth Saxhorn Band. He has also performed as lead trumpet for shows such as The Producers and The Sound of Music for Baton Rouge Little Theater and Christian Youth Theater.
