Jodi Bollich, Soprano
Singing professionally for 35+ years in the Acadiana area and around the world, Jodi McCasland Bollich is the name synonymous with beautiful and memorable vocal performances. Jodi began vocal, organ and guitar study at the age of 9 yrs. old, and within a few years, added piano to her list of musical accomplishments. She studied vocal performance privately for over 21 yrs., and piano for over 15 yrs., to become a well-rounded musician, able to sing and accompany herself.
Throughout her career, Jodi has sung backup for Andy Williams in Atlantic City, NJ, has had lead roles in a variety of musicals across the country such as The Music Man, The Sound of Music and West Side Story to name a few, and has recorded Broadway music for the Music Minus One recording label. She has been contracted as the featured soloist for a variety of venues from Westport, Connecticut to Roswell, New Mexico, and most recently was given the honor of being hired to sing Pie Jesu (Webber) and Ave Maria (Schubert) in Shanghai, China.
Although she studied classical vocal repertoire, Jodi’s passion is not solely centered around it, but includes the love of many different genres of music such as contemporary Christian, Broadway and Pop. Knowing the vocalist you choose will lift up your celebration to greater heights. Her vocal performances not only deliver passion, but will also bring your celebration to another level. Jodi is the Director of Music for St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Lafayette, La.
