​Anna Herrera, Cello

Anna Herrera is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She is currently studying her Master’s Degree with Professor Dennis Parker at Louisiana State University. Before coming to the United States, Anna studied music at Mozarteum Music School and Lino Gallardo Music School, in Caracas. In 2012 she made her debut as a soloist with Venezuela Symphony Orchestra. Anna has also been teaching cello, both in Venezuela and in the United States. She currently works as a cello teacher at Kid’s Orchestra, in Baton Rouge. She also plays with both Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and Acadiana Symphony Orchestra.
