Andrea Mouton, Soprano
Andrea Mouton, Soprano, is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Known for her full, bright timbre and Puccini legato, she is a consummate singing actress. She holds a Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor Degree of Music from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
No stranger to the stage, Ms. Mouton has performed lead roles in operas, operettas, musical theater, oratorios, and other concert works. She is a regular soloist with Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and L'Opera de Lafayette et Lagniappe.
Ms. Mouton is a member and adjudicator with the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Currently she maintains an independent voice studio with students of all ages and experiences, is the Coordinator and Director of Kids' Choir at Asbury United Methodist Church, and the soprano section leader at Our Lady of Fatima Church. With an extensive soprano range, Andrea Mouton sings professionally throughout the Louisiana area.
